Pay: $43 - $50 Per Hour

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on heavy equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes of equipment failures
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to efficiently diagnose and repair problems
  • Collaborate with parts department to ensure timely access to necessary parts
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Document all repairs and maintenance performed on customer equipment
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following all company safety protocols
  • perform test drives and road assessments

Requirements

  • Red Seal Certification as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician (421A) or equivalent provincial certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on heavy-duty equipment. Trucks, Forestry, Construction and Agriculture experience will be considered
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) without assistance
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Shift Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Minimum 40 hours per week
  • Overtime will be required depending on customer and seasonal requirements. 
  • Time away from home may be required depending on the technician abilities and position
  • Rotation in the On-Call schedule
